I had installed .NET Framework 4.5, the latest version, from Microsoft download center. Why the Compact 2013 using VS2012 still show error about it? How to fix it?

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
So i have tried installing .NET Framework 4.5 for awhile now. Every time i try to it's because of this program i use to boost my computers gaming capabilities called Razer Game Booster. My computer has been crashing while playing one of my favorite games,
and until i get a new computer (which cannot happen for another few months) I would like to fix this. The main problem is because the game booster has to update but one of the programs is requires to install into the computer is 4.5. The game boosters manager
updates in 2 or so minutes, but than 4.5 has to install and it does the download thing first and that goes by quickly. Than it goes to install and it takes hours upon hours, long enough to where i don't have any time to sit or just let my laptop sit there
and update. If anyone has any ways on how i could fix this it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hi there everyone.
I'm new to this forum and I have, so I have no clue if I have created this thread with the correct info and since I'm a tight Schedule here I can't afford to inform myself about the rules for now, but I will in due time...
So.. since I've installed Visual Studio 2012 express edition, I've been having the so called update described on the title of this thread, which is quite common.
However, every 10 ~ 20 minutes I get asked to apply the same update over and over again... I've checked the state of the update and it has always been successful, now I don't really know why this is happening, but I have restored my machine twice already in order to fix this issue and it's not working...
There hasn't been any info on the web that I could hang on to, so I decided to come to the source, which led me here.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Unable to search c:\windows\assembly
If I navigate to c:\windows\assembly and type "microsoft.lightswitch" or anything else into the search box in the upper right it does not perform the search. Any idea why not?

Error 0x80070643 trying to add .Net 3.5.1 on W2008R2
I have a new W2008R2 Server and I am trying to install the .Net 3.5.1 Feature. No matter what I try I get the 0x80070643 error. So far this is what I have tried.
1) Run SFC /Scannow -- everything was fine.
2) Ran System Update Readiness checker -- everything was OK
3) Tried the suggestions in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982/en-us including the DotNet Cleanup Tool and the DonNet Fixup Tool. Neither made any difference.
Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.

.Net 4 Setup freezes on Windows 7 - 0% progress on Installing .Net Framework 4 Client Profile
Hello,
it's my first post at this forum - I hope you could help me.
After having problems with installing VS2010 (it freezes when installing .Net Framework 4) I decided to download the stand-alone installer for the .Net Framework: dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe
But I have the same problems: after starting the installer (with admin privileges) the decompression starts and I confirm the install.
The installer announces some security checks and afterwards it freezes with a progress of 0%. Nothing happends for hours.
Maybe someone could give me a hind, wath to do. Where can I find logs to analyse the reason for the problem and the point of freeze.

Unable to unstall .net framework 4.5.1 on Win8 machine. No such interface supported.
I have a Windows 8 Professional machine that I've been unable to install .Net4.5.1 on. I get an error that says, "no such interface supported." I discovered this when I tried to install Visual Studio 2013 RTM and it failed during the 4.5.1 installation step. I have ran sfc /scannow multiple times, restarting the machine after each run, and it always says that there were files that it couldn't fix. CBS.log has many files that it says couldn't be reprojected because the source is corrupt. I have attempted replacing those files with fresh ones from the DVD with no success. I really don't want to pave the machine. Any suggestions?
It MIGHT not be related, but I also noticed that Windows update is failing to install any updates to the OS. It updates Office 2013 and VS2012 just fine.

Application error : The desktop IPC controller has not been installed properly
Hi , I'm receiving the error below while launching the .net application :
The desktop IPC controller has not been installed properly and on the top application window it says Error : object did not render. Check your browser settings and reinstall the Desktop IPC controller activex controller.
I'm not really sure on what is desktop IP controller or Desktop IPC controller activex controller and how it is related with .net application.
I'm running application on windows 2008 R2 with .net frame work 3.5 sp1.
Any help in understanding what is desktop IPC controller is much appreciated.

How To Get IP Address When Somebody Logins to the Asp.net Web Application
Hi
There's requirement to obtain the ip address when our users login to the particular application. To elaborate , i have a asp.net web application deployed on Window Server 2008 and we have three business buildings where we would like this application to use from. These three buildings have different network set up and we want to restrict users to access this web application outside of these buildings. Is there object or microsoft api to identify from the user coming from ?

Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate Downloaded from DreamSpark Fails Installation - Missing WebDeploy_x64.msi
Greetings,
I downloaded VS2012 Ultimate from DreamSpark (college faculty) and began an install on my Win7 64 bit/8GB RAM desktop. It failed and reported "Unable to locate source" and listed C:\VS2012Download\Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 (x86) - Web Installer (English)\packages\WebDeploy\WebDeploy_x64.msi as the missing file. After I cancel I receive the final message: "A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file.".
I also have a clean Azure instance of 2008 Svr R2 that I attempted the installation on and received the same results. I suspect the download. Any ideas?

Does Win2008 R2 already include .NET 3.5 SP1 and other patches in .Net 3.5.1?
Hi,
Windows 2008 R2 x64 brings already .Net 3.5.1 with it. Coming from a previous OS we were recommended to install .Net 3.5 SP1 and other hotfixes to .Net. Is that still required with the version coming with Windows 2008 R2??

Windows service not showing up in service manager
I wrote a WindowsService application using C# on .NET 3.5, there I used a project installer and set up program to package the application.
When I installed this, it worked well, succefullyt installed and event viewer says it success. When I goto add/remove Programs on the contro pannel there it shows the applicaiton to remove.
BUT, this is not showing up in the Service Manager.. Can someone please help me to fix this?
NOTE: I have tested this applicaion through a test clinent application (Windows Forms app) and there I didn't find any issues.

Cannot install .net framework
Hi,
I've have tried everything to install .net framework and nothing has worked :(.
Things I have tried:
All Solutions from a link in this site but I can't link it.
I tried a method on a Youtube video titled: How to fix failed install code Error HRESULT 0xc8000222 .net framework 4.0
I've deleted %temp%, attempted to install an earlier version,
Tried Windows Update but nothing seems to work...
When I do try to install it instantly fails and I get this error code: HRESULT 0x8000247
Anyone got some help for me?

Windows 7 64-bit MSISIP.dll error (0x800b0003)
I try to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012, but I get error code: '0x800b0003' and it gives a MSISIP.dll error, Same happens when I try to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (KB2858725). Any help would be much appreciated.

mscorlib FileNotFoundException
Hello, I will be posting this both here and in the Visual Studio Setup and Installation section as it pertains to both since it occured while during VS2008 setup and I'm assuming during the .NET install sections.
Any application that seems to be built using .NET immediatly crashes on launch with a System.IO.FileNotFoundException
for mscorlib, event name: CLR20r3
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate
I have tried running "sfc /scannnow" but it always goes like this:

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

I've also tried ngen.exe update from the v2.0.50727 .NET framework folder to no avail.
my filesystem does indeed contain mscorlib.dll in the v2.0.50727 folder version: 2.0.50727.1433.
Any ideas?
