I have been talking with people skeptical of 8 on up to 10 and they want a simple option out of the box for the UI to feel more like 7 but are willing to pay to get the kinds of speed security and other updates a current OS offers.
I personnaly just modified windows 8/8.1 shell with classic shell turned on or off features that worked for my environment but maybe there should be a legacy option for the shell etc. to look like native 7. A friend said it like this they would be willing to pay for an updated 7 (versioName) "Junior". They have more of a consumer level understanding of the product so maybe there could be a selected what it would look like radio button in the initial setup that told people what it would change.
