Access denied error message in IE

Hi,

I am new to MS .NET framework, I have recently installed mySQL server 2012 with dedault instance, and Visual Studio 2010 with . (DOT) to represent server name in the web.config as connection string. I connected to the TFS server for my project. And started the home page in the Visual Studio default server starting with localhost server name, it worked correctly. But when I clicked on the link inside a page, it shows access denied error message in the IE page. Can anyone help out with this error? I still want to use the VS default server, should I change the localhost server to something else in the start up page option, if so then what it should be?
